SuperHard is the latest innovation in Gelcoat that combines high-temperature resistance, high strength, and a super-hard surface all in one Gelcoat!The super-hard surface is obtained by incorporating nano particles of Porcelain within the formulation, while the high strength and high temperature resistance are generated from the polyester resin base. The iso resin base has a bonus of adding great chemical resistance. So now you have an upmarket Gelcoat that can be used for manufactured parts or in valuable moulds, and all with a super hard surface that retains a fabulous gloss that lasts for years.

RESISTS 'STARCRACKING': The iso resin base of SuperHard gives high temperature resistance, great chemical resistance, and a higher strength surface needed in tooling gelcoat or moulded parts if one wants to resist star cracks and chipping.

SuperHard Gelcoat is the outside finish coating on fibreglass moulded products or the surface finish on tooling moulds. SuperHard Gelcoat is usually applied to moulds as part of the manufacturing process. SuperHard Gelcoat is available in various qualities, and is manufactured from 'top of the line' vinylester resin. SuperHard Gelcoat is applied directly to a prepared mould by brush, spray or roller. SuperHard Gelcoat has excellent levelling properties and does not drain when applied to a vertical surface. SuperHard Gelcoat is UV Stabilized for improved weather resistance and has excellent water, chemical, and heat resistance properties.

SuperHard Gelcoat will give you a lasting high gloss (depending on mould texture) and when applied, will tack off in less than one hour, ready to overcoat with fibreglass the next day (depending on conditions). SuperHard Gelcoat is normally used in a mould or for mould tooling (surface prepared with a mould release wax) when moulding pools, boats, etc. If you want to finish an existing surface, then SuperHard Flow Coat would be your product choice from this same site.

SuperHard Gelcoat is supplied in spray type as standard (which is thick enough to brush).

The Gelcoat is available in 250gr, 500gr,1kg 2kg, 4kg, 10kg and 20kg or 25kg sizes. They are available for pickup or available for delivery using the DG Freight Coupon (available via this link) and these coupons are added to the shopping cart.

Vinylester-based Gel Coat and Flowcoat have a shelf life of 3 months due to their promoted compound. We warrant the product for 3 months from DOM for Gelcoat, Flowcoat and Vinyl Ester Resin.
