Wax Solution is a mixture of wax dissolved in Styrene Monomer and is used as an additive in Gel-Coat and Polyester resin. The addition of Wax Solution will remove the tacky or grab properties when the resin or gel coat has cured. Once added and cured, the resin can no longer provide a suitable bond between laminations. Therefore the resin surface must be rubbed back to provide a grip surface for the next lamination. The addition of Wax Solution to the resin also reduces the styrene emissions (stink) from the finished product.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Add Wax Solution to un-waxed resin or Gelcoat in a ratio of about 2.5%. Amount is not critical but more Wax Solution than less is preferred. The Wax Solution should be mixed well into the gel coat or resin.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS: Do not mix WAX SOLUTION directly with MEKP
