Platinum Stone Coating permeable paving Epoxy Resin is Mixed 2:1 ratio by weight
Platinum Stone Coating Epoxy Resin is suitable for either pouring over, or mixing with pebbles or aggregate to make a self-draining permeable paving path, or for use to surround trees where the water will flow through the paved area or securing loose stones in existing plant beds or paths. Being semi-flexible, Platinum Stone Coating Epoxy allows the trees to grow and the soil to move, limiting the amount of cracking that can happen when using traditional Epoxy Resins. Platinum Stone Coating Epoxy Resin can be applied via the pour-on method for existing pathways by using a watering can to capture loose stones or for new paving, it is most common to mix with aggregate in a bucket, wheelbarrow, or concrete mixer (for large areas.
With Platinum AgriFlex, one can lay pavement all year round. In cold weather, simply heat the Part A and Part B components by placing the jugs in hot water, as this will shorten the curing time in cold weather. AgriFlex is suitable for car parks, around council trees, at home for paths, or paved areas requiring drainage.
Mixing Ratio 2:1 for resin components is by weight.
This product is used in the pebble paving area. Mixing 1 kg of mixed Platinum Stone Coating Epoxy with 20 kg of dry aggregate is a good starting formula for pebble paving.
Platinum MANUFACTURED - Best Quality, Best Value and Reliable Epoxy Resin
These are high quality products & MADE IN AUSTRALIA - NOT overseas products just getting re-labelled. Please don't risk your work on the cheap standard brittle epoxy - can't tell you how many customers have told me they purchased the cheaper solid epoxy resin and it ruined their project - these are the important standards for this type of process. 1. Permeable 2. Flexible. 3. Strong Bond to Pebbles, Stones or Rocks
Platinum Stone Coating Epoxy Resin is extremely versatile and can be applied to a variety of surfaces, including:
Our Epoxy Resin have decisive advantages and benefits to the user over those offered by other brands. Premium products using premium ingredients from the best suppliers globally.
Why you should choose Platinum Stone Coating Epoxy Resin:
★ No VOC; Zero Solvent; BPA Free; Eco Friendly; Meet and Exceed Standards AS
★ Cures Clear. Suitable for so many paving applications and much more
★ UV Resistant Formula: Added UV Inhibitors resist yellowing when exposed to the sun and Ultra Violet light
★ When tumble coating pebbles or aggregate in a concrete mixer (or by hand mix, use a ratio of 1 part mixed Platinum Stone Coating Epoxy to x parts aggregate by volume as a starting formulation - exact amounts vary with each aggregate used. Check when mixing to make sure that the aggregate is completely coated. When using the pour-on method, the pepples or stones are in place and a plastic bucket with many holes in its base is used to distribute the resin over the surface. The Pour on method will use more resin per square meter and is not as strong as coating the pebbles via a mixer (in-home use, it is mostly fine)
★ Ideal for Permeable paving where drainage is needed
★ Perfect for outdoor applications with UV exposure
★ Terrific for decorative pebble flooring (driveways, patios, pool decks, pathways)
★ Easy To Use: Resin is 2 to 1 by weight mix ratio and Food Safe when mixed and cured correctly
Our Epoxy will leave your projects with a durable, UV-resistant, impact-resistant finish. Don't ruin a one-of-a-kind project with an inferior epoxy.
Coverage depends on temperature (Epoxy resins, before mixing, act a little like honey - in summer, they are very runny while in winter they are less runny) so coverage can vary.
Platinum Stone Coating Epoxy is resistant to most household chemicals and can withstand surface temperatures around 70=75 deg C.
We have about 56 other resin types to suit every need.
Directions for use: Mix resin and hardener EXACTLY in 2:1 ratio (Note: by weight and not by volume) Use a plastic container for mixing. DO NOT use metal, especially aluminum containers to mix. Mixtures could turn a milky colour in aluminum containers. The plastic container must be extremely clean, free of dirt; water; oil; and other contamination. Contamination would deteriorate the quality of the final result. Once the AgriFlex Part A and Part B are mixed, then add the aggregate in the approximate ratio of 1 part mixed AgriFlex to 20 parts pebbles or stone aggregate, mix for 5 mins by hand or concrete mixer, then the product can be troweled into place. with full curing within 24 hours.
The following factors affect the curing time:
1. Mixing quantity (the more you mix, the faster it cures and vice versa).
2. Ambient Temperature (higher room temperature will speed up the curing)
Mixing ratio: 2:1 (2 Parts A and 1 Part B) by weight.
Application temperature: Wide temperature range through summer to winter.
Pot life(working time varies with volume mixed and temperature of the day): 1-2 hours (Data based on 100ml mixing; 20 degree C / 68 deg F room temperature).
Trowel this product into place as soon as possible, to avoid premature setting.
Time to reach non-tacky: 5-18 hrs Depending on the room temperature (Data based on 100ml / 4 oz mixing).
Time to reach full cure: 24 hrs (Data based on 100ml / 4 oz mixing).
Compatibility: Binds to metal, inorganic materials including cement; glass, stone, natural materials including wood; particle board, most plastics except polyethylene, polypropylene, EPDM.
Shelf life: 12 months
Please Note: As this product is very pure epoxy. And it acts in a similar manner just like pure honey (epoxies act similar to honey in that, during winter honey is extremely thick and yet in summer, that same honey is very thin and runny). So it is with epoxies. And just like pure honey which sometimes turns to sugar? Pure Epoxy resin can act in a similar way and develop crystals (usually in Part A). This is not from faulty resin but the common thought is that it is from the cyclic hot days and cold nights when stored. An easy fix is to heat the jugs up in scalding hot water for about 30 mins and this will restore the resin to perfect condition. The heating is also good to help remove air bubbles trapped in the epoxy due to transportation.

I recently purchased your Ultra Clear resin for a bench top renovation. We live in a very dated house and decided to update the kitchen, but we are on a budget.
Great resin, quick delivery. Made a new top for my dinning table that was looking old. Happy with the ocean inspired look!
Great products. Delivered to your door within the time stated. Just ordered another lot!
