AACI's Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) together with its activator CA30 is a two-component silicone rubber that cures at room temperature and has the properties to replicate even the smallest and minute details. AACI's LSR can be pigmented using fine pigment powders. The ratio of Resin to Activator will dictate the cure time. For example: 100grams Part A (Resin) with 2grams Part B (Activator) by weight (ratio of 2%)= Pot life 30 mins, Cure 4 - 6 hours. 100gm Part A (Resin) with 3gm Part B (Activator) by weight (ratio of 3%) = pot life 25min, cure 2-3 hours
Always premix Parts A and B thoroughly before using.
Shore A Hardness- Approx. 10. Hardening Time (surface) : 20-45-mins pot life and 4-6hrs cure time, completely cured in 24hrs. Elongation Approx. 550-600%. Colour: Milky Clear. Tensile strength - approximately 4.0 MPa. Tear strength > 24 kN/m. Linear shrinkage less than 3% slow speed catalyst.
Properties: * Good fluidity means that it can fill the mould easily. * Easy de-moulding. * Mould-making speed is fast. * Great chemical stability and is both non-toxic and non-corrosive.
Directions:
Mix Silicone (Part A - a flowing liquid) and hardener (Part B - a thin liquid) in a ratio 100 grams of siliconel and 2-3 grams of hardener. Important: The Silicone and the hardener must be stirred in evenly. If not? then one part of the mold will have been cured and another part will not be cured. The silicone will dry and cure unevenly, which will affect the service life of the silicone mold or at worst? The mould has to be discarded.
Using a vacuum when air bubble treatment: If wanting to use the vacuum machine? Then use for a maximum of 10 mins, otherwise the Silicone could set and be discarded.
Applying the Silicone: Once mixed, pour the Silicone on top of the product. The product to be copied, may be coated with a release agent.
Safety - Always use in a properly ventilated area (“room size” ventilation). Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and nitrile gloves to minimize contamination risk.

I recently purchased your Ultra Clear resin for a bench top renovation. We live in a very dated house and decided to update the kitchen, but we are on a budget.
Great resin, quick delivery. Made a new top for my dinning table that was looking old. Happy with the ocean inspired look!
Great products. Delivered to your door within the time stated. Just ordered another lot!
