Gelcoat Putty Kit

Gelcoat Putty Kit (white or natural) - is a paste specially formulated to repair chips & scratches in fibreglass runabouts, decks, caravans, and ice boxes. etc. The kit comes in white or natural (natural needs a pigment added to it at 5% to colour-match your repair). The kit also comes complete with its MEKP hardener.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Coarsely sand the repair, then wash it with Acetone. Mix the AACI Gelcoat Putty with the MEKP provided in the ratio (Note: 1ml equals about 20 drops. So for 1 gram of putty used, requires 1 drop of MEKP) of 5 mls of MEKP to 100gm of Putty, and then apply. When the putty is hard, sand the surface to a smooth finish with Wet & Dry sandpaper. Polish to the required finish.

These kits are available in 100gr, 250gr, 500gr, and 1kg sizes. They are available for pickup or available for delivery using the DG Freight Coupon (available via this link) which must be added to the shopping cart (only sizes over 250 grm total require a DG freight coupon for delivery - smaller sizes for delivery have fixed prices via Australia Post).

Polyester Resin, Chopped Strand Mat, Acetone, Tools, and safety equipment are available.

Clean all brushes, rollers, and fibreglass tools with Acetone.

Always wear gloves and dust masks, and avoid breathing vapours of resin or dust residue.
