Platinum Epoxy Accelerator #1 (clear and not to be confused with Platinum Epoxy Accererator #2, which has a slight yellow tinge and is less expensive) curing agent can be used with many Epoxies in the Platinum range (consult our office for confirmation) and is used to shorten (or speed up) the set and cure times by up to 50%. Directions for use: Firstly mix your Platinum Epoxy System as per instructions. Now add the Platinum Epoxy Accelerator in varying amounts, but a maximum of 10% of the total epoxy mix. Platinum Epoxy Accelerator #1 curing agent is high quality catalyst for curing epoxy resins. It is used both as a curing agent (adhesives applications) and as an activator for other curing agents including amidoamines, amine adducts and polyamides (coatings, castings, flooring, concrete and adhesives applications). It is also a catalyst blends for liquid epoxy resin and liquid polysulfides for body solder, sealant and concrete adhesives applications. Also, it is a highly efficient catalyst for epoxy resins cured with polycarboxylic acids and anhydrides (casting and laminate applications), as well as for the isocyanate/polyol and isocyanate trimerization reactions (isocyanurate foam applications).
